Designing an intuitive, user-centric medical app
World Medical Card provides essential medical services, and they came to us to design their mobile app. The goal was a seamless digital experience that lets people reach important medical information quickly and without friction.
Alongside the UI/UX, we also created custom illustrations and animations to make the app feel more welcoming and to lift engagement throughout.
Research-driven design, built around real users
Before designing a single screen, we researched the medical-services space and the specific needs of World Medical Card's users. Because people often reach for this kind of app in stressful, time-sensitive moments, the design had to be easy to navigate for every age group, visually clear with well-structured layouts, and genuinely accessible.
Good UI design isn't just about looks — it's about making complex information simple and reassuring to use. Our research surfaced the key pain points, and we shaped the navigation and features around removing them.
Wireframing and concept development
With a clear picture of the user journey, we mapped the app's core functionality through wireframes and early prototypes, keeping every flow focused on clarity and efficiency.
We refined those wireframes based on feedback before moving into the final UI phase — so the structure was solid before any visual polish went on top.
A clean, modern interface built in Figma
We designed the final UI in Figma, with a clean, modern style and a balanced colour palette chosen to convey trust and professionalism. Every screen — from signing in to pulling up medical details — was designed usability-first.
To make the experience feel more human, we added custom illustrations and subtle animations that simplify complex medical processes and make the app genuinely pleasant to open.

The result was a polished, highly functional medical app that matched World Medical Card's vision exactly.
